Overview

Journey back to 1918. Feel the desperation of one man's struggle to win the battle of conscience, to win the battles of war, to win the war to end all wars. John Henry Parsley fought these battles to the end of his life. He felt that our nation never really understood the American dough boy and the trauma they endured in the battles of modern warfare. He hoped that one day his story would be put to print. That day has finally come.

About the Author

John Henry Parsley was born in 1896. He died at the age of 72 in 1968. His service in WW1 was both heroic and tragic. He had kept a diary throughout the war and after the war he wrote a book about his service in the war because he felt that our nation never really understood the American dough boy. He hoped that some day his story would be put to print. Almost a century later, that day has finally come. Let not even one veteran be the "Forgotten Soldier."
