Overview

From activists to artists, scientists to spies, politicians to pickpockets, this compendium, by Katie Wignall, highlights and introduces the celebrated and lesser known women who have shaped and inspired London, and Londoners, for centuries. With original photography by Jo Underhill, this guide is a companion to begin exploring the lives of some of London’s most impactful women, and to inspire the next generation to continue their work.

This is Blue Crow Media’s second London History map, following Black History London Map.
