About the Author

Allison Allen spent 5 years living a classic bodybuilding lifestyle, both as a consumer and a coach. She ate a diet full of chicken, whey protein, milk, eggs, etc. Of course, carbohydrates were the enemy, and high animal protein was the golden rule. Over time, despite clean eating, she developed poor digestion, lethargy, a burnt out metabolism, and a strong dissatisfaction with her diet. After discovering a plant based diet for a mixture of health and ethical reasons, she tried it out and ended up healing her metabolism and digestion. Now she's committed for life and has incorporated her knowledge of eating a wholesome and balanced diet with her fitness routine, and has created this book to help others who want to do the same. These recipes are so good and familiar, you won't even know you're eating healthy until you feel the amazing health benefits!
