This memoir unfolds with a host of characters and vignettes telling the stories of modern-day teens on a journey from wannabe grownups to accomplished, successful adults—or sometimes not. Despite various advantages of race, wealth, and education, some of the teens struggle with relationships, drugs, self-esteem, societal norms, and our laws. These teens find themselves on the under-construction list.

Enjoy the author's observations and insights of dealing with today's teenagers as they experience joy, love, courage, and challenges of life or death on life's spiritual journey. This book introduces unique methods of working Christian traditions, principles, and scripture into lessons for youth.

This book covers turbulent times, heartbreaking sadness, and unforgettable incidents with teenagers as they travel from ninth grade to senior high graduation. Many become leaders and faithful Christians working for a better world. Others fall short, yet lessons can be learned from all.

This honest, relatable, and at times comic tale of teens becoming adults provides a thoughtful meditation for anyone interested in youth and the challenges of their spiritual development. The book relates the essence of the human spirit in teens and provides a compelling tale of teenagers working with the author for more than three decades.

Delight in this book's faith, fortitude, and fun as the author negotiates the rocky paths of teenagers on their spiritual journey. Follow the author from a nervous, neophyte teacher through the development of themes, topics, and role models that work in teaching life's lessons to teens. The author's teaching style and approach created a safe, but challenging learning environment for teens and gives the reader guidance in relating to them.
