About the Author

Best selling author Lorana Hoopes is the author of both Christian romances and Children's early readers. She is originally from Texas but now lives in the PNW with her husband and three kids. Many of her books are set in Texas, close to her roots, and her Wishing Stone books are based on her three children.

Her Wishing Stone books have been picked up by several schools and used as a summer reading book. They employ a glossary of challenging words and a resource list at the end so children can do additional research. She will be adding a Christian line to the Wishing Stone series soon.

She has several contemporary romance series spanning women's fiction, small towns, football players, and billionaires. She also has a speculative fiction series and a romantic suspense series.

I have read every book that Lorana Hoopes has written for the adult market. This is not a romance book. It's a book about what happens when we listen to the still small voice of God. The book was very well written and the characters were very "human". I purchased it so that I could read it again. It is one of those books that make you think. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy the Left Behind Series and Frank Peretti

I believe it is the best and most profound book she has written. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed the Left Behind Series and Frank Peretti. This is not Loranna Hoopes usual Christian romance. I immediately Identified with Jordan and Kat, I can imagine them being my friends. If we would slow down enough to listen to God's still small voice we'd save ourselves and others a lot of heartaches.

WOW! This story will make you stop and listen. I've been a Christian almost my entire life and I've often wanted God to just tell me what to do. This story is about what happens when we really listen and then actually do what God ask us to do. Great characters and challenging to see what one can do if they are not only willing to listen but to do what God calls them to do.
