Overview

In the thousands of years that Persephone has been trapped by the deal between Demeter and Hades, no one has ever considered what she wants. After running away and hiding for ten years among humans, a new discovery gives her a chance to finally fight for freedom from a deal made long ago. She finds a horse of Poseidon's creation- a horse with incredible potential for power. When Persephone creates a powerful weapon out of this horse, the other gods rush to stop her from disrupting what has always been.

While the Spring goddess hides behind a human persona of nineteen year old Cora, familiar faces from the past find their way to present-day Los Angeles. When Hades comes up to the human realm, he finds her and the horse. He kidnaps his wife once again, but this time is different. Persephone learns that the other gods are keeping secrets about her... secrets that explain why Zeus created the deal that trapped her in two worlds.
