Overview

There’s more life on the beach than people on a hot summer’s day. Once they leave, it’s the Sand People’s turn. The Sand People are a community with structure, laws, and soul. Sandursky is a child of this community. Before we’re through, we'll see him learn to overcome greed, anger and fear, all in one day.

About the Author

I’m Ethelle Gladden, and I live in Ojai, California. I’m a family matriarch of sorts, with my family consisting of a niece, two nephews and four cats—everybody else is strewn along the east coast. I drove to California in 1988 and found my way to Ojai in 1993. My career in writing children’s picture books was launched in 2011.
