About the Author

I am a mathematician by training, a programmer by trade. When I decided that life as a college professor was not want I wanted after all, I took a couple years off back in the 70s to try my second passion writing. Nothing sold and I wound up going back to business school and then working as a lead programmer with various fancy titles. Including a few years as a road warrior, in the late 80s and early 90s. Having started a work late, I compensated by retiring early, and reverted to my 70s self in a somewhat older body, including the writing. This is my 14th novel published by CLHP. In the meantime, I also took over the website, edited a hundred or so books, and became the junior partner.
