This book is about a young girl that finds her way through life and discovers that she needs God every step of the way. She learns the essence of discovering who she is and eventually is able to embrace the "real her" after she learns that compromising to fit someone else never works. This book talks about her journey in waiting until marriage as it was a value that was instilled in her at church. However, that vow becomes more real to her when she is presented with a decision to follow what she has been taught or to forsake that knowledge. In the end, the young woman discovers what the vow means to her and encourages others to be firm in their personal decisions and convictions no matter what challenge is presented to them along the way.
