Overview

Originally Published in 1888 by the London Tract Society “Poppy’s Presents” is a book that tried to offer hope and address the issues of it’s day. Broken families may seem prevalent in today’s culture but Poppy’s family deals with this issue as well as other problems such as poverty, sickness and the devastation addiction brings. The book focuses on the hope and reconciliation offered through Jesus Christ and the redemption He brings. Illustrated

I hope you enjoy this book. When I first started reading books on my nook Library I noticed that there are many free classics available. However the formatting is terrible and some are unreadable because of errors in the text. Therefore, I decided to start publishing quality classics that included chapter breaks, table of contents, linked chapters, and illustrations when available. Keep your eye out for inspirational stories from us, EirenikosPress.

About the Author

Amy Catherine Walton, better known as Mrs O F Walton, was a British author of Christian children's and teenage books, mainly but not exclusively fiction. Then in 1874 came one of her best known books, Christie's Old Organ, which has been regularly reprinted up to the present day. It is the story of orphaned Christie and his friend the aged organ-grinder Treffy.
