Overview

Poorly Written Stories is a collection of work written between 2000 and 2004. The stories are part of the first era of writing for B.F. Galligan that was interrupted until 2014, then again until 2023. This collection compliments Brackets as a release of B.F. Galligan's early work, all of which is offered as an insight in to the evolution of B.F. Galligan as a writer, from a time of inspired frenzy that gives all stories from this period a surreal quality. Contained in this volume is The Downcast Eyes of the Juba Goblin, which is B. F. Galligan's second novel.

About the Author

B.F. Galligan has written several works of fiction since 2000, but has eschewed a career as an author so that the art would never need to be influenced by the pursuit of a financial livelihood. Writing was always about the joy of the process and the thrill of words on page. While writing over the years, B.F. Galligan has been a student, a restaurant worker, an attorney, a teacher, a human rights researcher and a humanitarian living all over the United States and the world. Poorly Written Stories is a collection of his early writing.
