أولْريشْ رِنْسْ وُلِدَ عَامَ 1960 فِي شِتوتْغارْتْ، دَرَسَ الْآدَابَ الفَرَنْسيَّةَ فِي بَارِيسَ ثُمَّ الطِّبِّ فِي لُوبِيكْ، اشْتَغَلَ كَمَسْؤولٍ فِي دَارِ نَشْرٍ عِلْميَّةٍ حاليًّا يَعْمَلُ كَكاتِبٍ حُرٍّ لِكُتِبِ مَراجِعَ عِلْميَّةٍ وَطِبّيَّةٍ وَرِواياتِ أَطْفالٍ وَشَبابٍ‏.‏
