Overview

Imagine paintings that hold the secrets to the meaning of life and death or scribbled words that can alter the past and reshape the present.

We know art imitates life but in Michael B. Koep's thriller fiction trilogy, the author brings the arts to life in an action-packed tale spanning seven centuries.

In the spring of 1338, young William of Leaves knows only of remedies, herbs and his mother's kindness. When he is forced to watch as she is dragged to a witch's pyre by a mob led by the Bishop of London, the mysterious immortal apothecary, Albion Ravistelle, promises the boy a chance at vengeance.

In the summer of 1972, Helen Storm is a stoned groupie on the sunset strip with a very special condition: she is immortal. When her life intersects with a famous guitar player, she is introduced to her future as a deadly and remorseless assassin.

In present day, psychologist Loche Newith and Julia Iris must come to terms with Loche's prophetic writings that have changed the course of history and shaped the lives of William, Helen, and countless others. As a war breaks out between the immortals on earth and Albion Ravistelle, Loche must accept the realities he has authored and cross over into death - he must enter again into Basil Fenn's paintings to find a way to end the conflict.

In Part Two of The Newirth Mythology, Leaves of Fire, Koep entwines these lives and lifetimes as he explores myth, memory, revenge and the hope of forgiveness.

Editorial Reviews
From the Publisher
“Must reads for the summer! It’s part adventure, part fantasy, a bit of mystery, and all fun.”—The Times Weekly

“In The Invasion of Heaven, by Michael B. Koep, has made us believers in the magic of his own created reality. With pasts and futures blurring and mankind in the balance, it’s a great story and a great read. I can’t wait for the sequel, or the movie.”—Stephen Shortridge, author of Deepest Thanks, Deeper Apologies.

“Reminiscent of a modern-day Tolkien, the descriptions create an irresistible world that drags you in, ready or not. Silence. Flash. Gone.… It wasn’t just that the adventure sweeps you right off your feet in a blend of technology and sword-fighting, art and music, love and crime, in a glorious thrill ride that never goes too far for you to suspend your disbelief. It wasn’t even that the plot bends your mind so that you’re never quite ready, even on the last page. The Invasion of Heaven is a story that reminds us life can be worth something, that beauty is worth fighting for, that our work, our place in the world can really matter. That love changes everything.”—Rose Robbins, author of The Carlin Series, The Art of Grace, and Deep Blue Ocean.

A spiral into madness, The Newirth Mythology by Michael B. Koep is a ride into madness, a war between Big Brother and the Other Brothers! What do you do when you have to go up against your mentor- a fellow colleague, in a battle of wits? How do you also stay ahead of the police detectives and others who could dome than harm- even in death! These two books take you on a journey far beyond the reaches of mere mortal minds... This book completes the triangle. In book one we were introduced to the Painter and the Poet. This book is about the Healer. This book brought warring Gods, confusing children and Led Zeppelin. The story is about unhappy Gods (the Oration Wis) who envy humans. Following Albion Ravistelle, they illegally break through a portal into our world, looking to create their own version of heaven on earth. This book was MUCH more exciting than the first. This one didn't carry you into insanity before hitting the good stuff. I loved this book and found it full of the action that I'd hoped to find in book one. There's to be one more book- be looking for it. This author has a gift! *For full review: http://bit.ly/2c43yeB **Books are from author, Michael B. Koep, for an honest review.
