About the Author

Born to Haitian immigrants, Marline was born and raised in sunny Miami, FL. Destined to make her parents proud, Marline is a successful CFO, Business Professional, CPA, Educator and now Doctoral candidate. She can now add author to her list of accomplishments. Marline began writing her 1st book, “It’ll Happen by 30…” unbeknownst to her, as her quest to enter the next chapter of her life was not going as planned. Her writings began as daily journal entries that captured the emotional, technical and overall state of mind during some difficult times in her life. What started off as an outlet to cope and express her feelings, has resulted in her first published work. Marline has been happily married to her doting husband, Kevens, for almost 19 years now. She is mother to 4 princes - her bonus son, Richard, 25, twin boys Kason and Kamden, 8 and her youngest KB (Kevens Benjamin) 2. When not working, Marline and Kevens invest lots of time with their family of sons in finding new ways to nourish their family dynamic.
