Overview

Ima Aphrodite Thorne contains the fictional memoirs of Aphrodite as she lives in human form from 1820-1919.  Her lifetime encompasses many of the historical events that take place during that time including, the Civil War, the assassination of two Presidents and attempted killing of another.  Aphrodite tells of her experiences that saw tragedies galore, but also the creation and growth of such inventions as planes, trains and automobiles.  Tragedies such as the sinking of the Titanic are also chronicled.  Readers who are intrigued by United States historical events as narrated by the Greek Goddess of Love who has a large number of romantic involvements with men who strongly resemble the Gods whom they are named after will truly enjoy reading this novel.
