Overview

The 12th studio album by Florida Christian rock outfit Casting Crowns, 2022's uplifting Healer further showcases the group's anthemic and heartfelt sound. The album follows 2018's Dove and Grammy Award-nominated Only Jesus and again finds singer Mark Hall and his bandmates crafting songs about finding hope during tough times. Aiding Hall is songwriter Matthew West, who co-penned singles like "Scars in Heaven," "Desert Road," and "2nd Opinions." The group is also joined by producer and longtime Sawyer Brown-frontman Mark Miller, who helps Casting Crowns strike a nice balance between rootsy twang and contemporary rock uplift. ~ Matt Collar
