芭芭拉 布灵克曼 1969年出生于德国慕尼黑，阿尔卑斯山脚下的巴伐利亚是哺育她成长的地方。大学她在慕尼黑就读于建筑系。目前她在慕尼黑工大建筑系从事教学研究。在大学工作以外她还是艺术设计师，插画家和作家。
