Gr 3-9-These 85 performance pieces are drawn from dramas, novels, short stories, and even a personal letter. The assortment is diverse, including biographies, fiction, plays, and classics. A scant overview precedes each of the offerings. The unfortunate gender division is not relevant in this day and age (``monologues for girls''; ``monologues for boys''); a thematical arrangement would be more appropriate and helpful.
