Fussy cutting can be used to highlight a specific section of a print or to create fascinating kaleidoscopic effects, and Wilson shows off both via a series of projects that use techniques popular in modern quilting, including improvisational piecing and English paper piecing. The projects are divided into three groupings based on the amount of time required to complete them. Wilson provides thorough guidance for each technique presented, and her tips for using templates are especially helpful.
