CHAPTER 1

Lord I Seek Answers

Lord, I have a lot of questions that rummage through my mind.

Many I hear from others, and many whose ownership is none other than mine.

I tend to keep them to myself, since no one seems to have an answer when I ask anyway.

But soon I realize opinions formulate more questions, which leads to less answers and more to say.

I was told since a young tender age; only ask the original source in order to seek the truth.

This is why I come with open ears, a humble mind and a Bible unto you.

Lord I ask: If my parents do not teach me about You, how will I learn?

He answered me: "My child read Psalms 34:11; 'Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.'"

But if my parents take me to church and teach me about You, will I have wit?

"My child Proverbs 22:6 will explain, 'Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.'"

Ok, but if we have biological fathers, then what is our relationship to You, my Lord?

"My child as John 1:12 and 1 John 3: 1-10 states, 'You are all God's children as long as you believe.' Psalm 127:3 better emphasizes, 'Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord; and the fruit of the womb is his reward.'"

So if I have to be saved to be Your child, then can you explain what it feels like to be soothed?

"Job 33:25 said it best: 'His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth.'"

Once I am baptized, will I still be on the same pace?

"You will try to live following the guidelines or Ten Commandments in Exodus 20. But your spirit will always reside with me as in Job 32:8."

Lord, thank you for listening and telling the truth, My questions have answers and now I know what to do. One more thing I do know and I'll never forget is the Magnificent Lord's Prayer in Matthew Chapter 6.

"My child, one last thing, as I send you on your way: remember you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you; forever and always. Philippians 4:11"

    Untitled #1

    Times are changing constantly
    Times are always hardening
    Life sometimes seems unbearable
    But remember keep God first!
No one is in your corner
    Friends turn into foes
    Haters beginning to multiple
    But remember keep God first!
    Money's running a little short
Bills are due, there's no last resort
Debts seem like their head over heels
    But remember keep God first!
    Children getting out of hand
Back talk starts, there's no upper hand
Crying seems to be a daily activity
    Remember Keep God First!

    The Old Testament

The Old Testament contains the most books of the bible, but each one
    withholds an important message
Although I cannot go through all of them, those I explain will surely
    teach you a lesson
If you read Genesis, you will better understand how life came to be
If you read Exodus, you will understand your history of the Hebrews and
    the commandments given unto thee
If you read Leviticus, you will know how worshipping, serving, and
    obeying your God became established
Reading Numbers will help you to understand the lesson that although
it may be necessary to pass
through the wilderness, one does not have to live there
If you read Deuteronomy, you grasp the importance of obedience
If you read Joshua and Job you will further conceive the different aspects
of having faith on God, and how far it can take you in life
Ruth exemplifies love, devotion, and redemption,
While Daniel illustrates how important your decisions are
Esther reveals God's hand of providence and protection on behalf of His
    people
But if you read Psalms, you will perceive God as a friend, due to the
testaments of the many people on every topic known to man
Once you have taken God in as your Father and friend, you will be
unstoppable in all your goals of life
After surviving my first year in college, I now know why Bibles are the
    most popular graduation gifts

    Our Father

Our Youth is always talking about
    how they don't know their
    father
But in all honesty, your Father has
    been with you all along
Always there to help you do right
    when you're thinking about
    doing wrong
    When your decision making is
    tempted by unethical and
    immoral haters
Your Father is there to let you know
He will deal with them later
    When girlfriends and boyfriends
    betray you like Delilah did
    Samson
Know a child's connection with their
    Father will never be undone
    The investment you make in
    your spiritual future will only
    benefit your present being
You try to be the center of
    attention now, but standing
in front of God, will you be
    worth seeing
    He delivered the Israelites from
slavery, as He did for our
    ancestors
    What goes around come back
    around because He is doing
    the same for addictions,
    diseases, and various cancers
He was there when Moses parted
the Red Sea, when David slew
Goliath, and even to help the
    blind man see
What makes you think going in
    the opposite direction of a
miracle worker is the right way     to be?
You may think God does not have
your back, but ask yourself do
    you have His?
When other belittle Him, do you
    uplift His name no matter
    what the consequence is?
Do you pray not only when things
are wrong, but when things are
    good too?
If God was talking to you right
    now, would you recognize who
    are you talking to?
Eternal life is so easy to possess
If swag is so important, wear the
    armor of finesse
Dare to be different than the evils
    of this earth
Lead by example and know your
    own worth
It is all written in the Bible,
    instruction on how you should
    live
Gaining wisdom is not a lesson,
but a lifestyle that many elders
    will freely give
    God and longevity go
    hand-in-hand
So gon' and turn up and let Jesus in
He died so that you may live
Why not believe in what He stood
    for and honor His will
There is no greater name, and this
    I know for a fact
It is because of Jesus that Magnolia
    is making a comeback!

    Untitled #2

There's something in my heart that causes my eyes to flutter, my stomach
to twirl, my thoughts to clutter
There's something in my heart that makes me think these thoughts
Creating sexual fantasies in hopes not to get caught
    Damn here it goes again
Shit, let me go ahead and fill you in
    You see each one starts
With you and me only two inches apart
    In a candlelight room
As if I were your wife and you were my groom
Awaiting to be taken into my nectar of love
Two souls combine into one creating a pure and sanctified dove

    Ballad's to my First Love

    Ballad No. 1

You are my love; you are the dedication in my life, my only goal in this
world is to one day be your wife.
I have searched through many journeys of lust, and now I have finally
come up the equation for love: You + Me = Us.
A love that is endurable, unbearable if you wish: A love that cannot get
    any greater than this.
A bond many dream of having; and only a few get to enjoy. I am very
proud to have found an intelligent young man, and not a playful
    little boy.
If all that I say is true, I completely understand my over-protectiveness of
you. But why am I constantly in tears and confused over the things
    that I do.
The tears I shed are tears of joy and also my inability to conceive how I
was able to possess any angel from above.
I always believed I was a good girl and people took advantage of me, but
now I have come to realize all my debts were paid in full when you
    were given to me.
You were the missing piece of my life that brings cheerfulness, hope, and
    success.
The piece that filled my broken heart and told me, LOVE cannot get
    any greater than this!

    Ballad No. 2

Generous to all who know him
    Eminence
    Rather cute (don't cha' think)
All about love and helping others
    Listener that provides great advice
Distinguished young man, that is distinctive from others (even his twin)

    Ballad No. 3

    Our love is
    Unique, yet
    Ravishing to our hearts

    Lasting
Over 6 months, we hope to continue a
    Very long time—
    Eternity may be

    Ballad No. 4

Life without you is truly pointless
A world where I shall never love again
A time where all hopelessness enters my heart
An era where a new lifetime begins
Shame rushes my mind as loneliness enters my spirit
Your love is slipping away and I can't quite understand it ...
