About the Author

Felicia "Ink" Albritton is a native of Snow Hill, North Carolina. She has been writing since she was in the eighth grade being asked by her mother to read a poem for their annual family reunion. Felicia took it upon herself to read the first few lines of a poem written by James Baldwin and began to create her very own poem to suit her family and the events that were being transformed for her family to enjoy. Poetry has taken her around the world and into so many different venues to perform her poetry. She has work with filmmakers to doing voice-over work as well as acting having leading roles and supporting roles in two hit gospel plays. She is currently working a web series that will highlight the lives of those that have been sentenced to life in Prison, shes also working on a poetry clothing line, another book of poetry, a poetic album and she is the Co-owner of Kells Kakery in Washington North Carolina.
