Sloane McClain loves stories about knights and Highlanders. She also loves strong Alpha males, but she wants them to have equally strong women for their partners.
The mystery surrounding King Arthur has always been a favorite subject and it led her to wonder what would happen if there was more to the story. What if the sword, and other swords, were still important? What if Arthur had sons who survived? These questions and more led to the birth of her Sons of Pendragon series.
Sloane has also been fascinated by tales of the Fae from Ireland and Scotland. How would they interact with humans? What if they were forced into an alternate dimension and some of them were angry about it? The old, familiar, but still relevant trope of Good vs. Evil. This led to the birth of her companion series, The Sidhe Hunters.
On a more personal note, Sloane loves animals. She currently has two very spoiled rescue dogs. She also loves photography. You'll often see her photographs on her social media pages. She loves history, archaeology, genealogy, and a lot of other -gys.
