There are different scientific reasons for why Diets Don't Last. One has to do with our inherited ancestral behaviors which are part of our brain's subconscious programming. It is a survival instinct, which protected our ancestors from starvation, and in today's world, whenever you try to override that programming, such as going on a diet and starving yourself. Your brain reacts, and thinks you're starving, and it tries to protect you, as it did in the past. It makes you get hungrier so you want to eat more, and it causes you to burn less energy, making it very hard to lose weight. Which physiologically makes it difficult for you to continue the diet, Diets Don't Last... by our own internal programming. That's a kick in the head, diets are self-defeating, who would have guessed. Well I did, and I'm going to share my solution with you, Lifestyle Changes Do.

My passion and interest for cooking started when I was young growing up in Brooklyn New York – a place best known for its melting-pot of peoples and their foods. My grandparents were chefs from Italy and I inherited their passion for cooking great food! I went to Italy to become formally educated in Italian cuisine, I attended the Italian Culinary Institute, where I was taught Italian and French cooking techniques along with food preparation. My wanting to learn more about cooking continued, so over the years I’ve taken numerous courses in Taiwanese, French, American, Polish and other cuisines. I eventually became a restaurateur, but found out that I wasn’t really interested in Restaurant Management, “I just loved cooking”. So, I continued to develop my own unorthodox approach to cooking food, and I specialized in foods that I believed were healthier, because they had lower carbs, and didn’t have any sugar additives. I do believe that my creations are still very delicious, and can be enjoyed just as well as the original recipes, by everyone.

I wrote “Diet’s Don’t Last… Lifestyle Changes Do”, because I wanted to share with everyone what I learned from struggling with different diets. I really believe that you owe it to yourself to read this book, because I know it will help you enjoy a new way of eating, and at the same time create a new “Lifestyle Change” for you, as it did for me and wife. My recipes combine a love for simple, traditional and classical foods, but with a unique blend of creative flair and some unorthodox ingredients that I’m sure you will “Enjoy…”
