Following clues from a tortured, almost incoherent story, Caylith and Liam embark on a mission, joined by close friends, to save a group of captive women. They travel to the desolate north shores of what is now Co. Donegal and to the rugged, remote Tory Island made impregnable by a nest of treacherous rocks.
Even if she can somehow free the captives, Caylith needs to find and confront the one hidden in plain sight, the traitor in their midst who’s making his fortune from trading in slavery. Just as critical to her, she must also slip the manacles of the man who has tried to bind her to his fevered heart.
