There are fishing stories, few, hunting stories, many, and a look at how his family spent their lives on the Needle Rush Coast of L A. About the Author

Thomas Henry Kelly Jr. was born on May 15th 1927 in Mobile, Alabama. He is married to his wife of 64 years, Helen. They have one daughter, Laura, and twin grand children. Tom spent 1944-1946 as and aerial gunner in the U.S. Navy. He spent 1951-1952 in the U.S. Army during the Korean Campaign, Artillery officer and Battalion Commander. Tom worked for Scott Paper Company form 1953 to 1993 when they made him retire. He is a graduate of Auburn University, Forestry Class 1949 and is still active in the timber industry. Tom is currently writing his 23 book of essays.
