Overview

English Translation: Truman Cape captures the reader in an exciting history, and inaugurates - as he himself proclaimed a sort. With pioneering effectiveness, Cape step by step followed the life of the small town of Holcomb and concentrated its attention in the criminals; peculiarly, that work of investigation turned it into the biographer of a society.
