In the sequel to Miriam's Secret, the untimely arrival of her fiancé's former love disrupts Miriam Yoder's plans of marrying Wayne Yutzy. Although Wayne claims he's not interested in her money, she's unsure if she can trust him. Her inheritance appeared to be a blessing at first, but Miriam wonders if it is really a punishment.
