About the Author

Ken Russell was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. He was raised in a single family household and was the youngest of three boys. His mother’s household income never exceeded sixteen thousand per year, with an average income around eight-thousand per year. Ken’s family patronized subsidized housing, and government assistance programs.
At the age of thirteen, Ken decided that he wanted to own real-estate. Ken has owned and sold many residential properties. He has also owned and sold several retail service businesses. Ken graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree at age thirty-four. At thirty-seven years of age Ken was financially independent and debt-free. By definition Ken was not a millionaire, but he was financially independent. He acquired enough assets that produced sufficient income to pay for all of his basic needs.
In order to pursue financial independence you must have a passion. Ken’s passion resides in real estate, equity investing, personal finance, but his utmost passion is his pursuit for independence. Regardless of your background, or social economic status pursuing your passion in life brings forth many personal benefits. Dreams do come true, so chase your dreams – not money.
