Blue Hawk was born into the Cheyenne culture of his parents, but when he is adopted by a white trapper and renamed Caleb Sax it is difficult for him to adjust to the white man�s ways. He encounters prejudice everywhere he goes and struggles to remember his true blood despite his upbringing. Caleb�s adoptive parents raise him alongside their daughter, Sarah, and love him like their own. As Caleb and Sarah grow up together, their secret passion for one another becomes undeniable.
