Rebecca Wells (1953) is an American author, actor and playwright. She began her writing career in 1992 with the book Little Altars Everywhere. Her second novel, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, was short-listed for the Orange Prize for Fiction. It was also adapted into a movie of the same name. Wells’s third novel, Ya Yas in Bloom, reveals the roots of the Ya Ya’s friendship. Her latest book, , introduces new characters.
