About the Author

Carter Charles McNish is an undergraduate student at Hillsdale College, Michigan. Born and raised in Maryland and educated at The Heights School in Potomac, Carter has studied the accounts and visited the sites of dozens of American Civil War battles across the Eastern and Western theatres. Look for his next work, coming in May 2021: LeMay's Inferno, a seven part radio broadcast account of the development of the Boeing B-29 Superfortress and its use by General Curtis LeMay to bring about the end of the Second World War in the Pacific.
