Overview

Who REALLY killed the Andersons? Who's behind the cover up? This is the question! A 9-1-1 call to the San Diego Police Department on August 4, 2013 reporting a two-story fire in Boulevard, California is only the beginning of many harrowing events to follow. After a woman's body and the body of a dog is found inside a detached garage, murdered, a bloody crowbar next to the woman's body, the dog shot in the head, the homeowner and two kids are reported missing. Assuming homeowner James Lee DiMaggio killed the children's mother, Christina Anderson-the woman's body discovered in the garage-setting his home on fire, he then kidnapped Anderson's two children, Hannah age 16 and Ethan age 8. The following day the remains of a child, burned beyond recognition is found inside DiMaggio's burned-to-the-ground home. And even this is only the beginning. After a week-long manhunt, DiMaggio, maybe an innocent man, based on information from San Diego Sheriff Bill Gore, is then shot down by the FBI in what appears to be actions of a firing squad. The public has doubts on the validity of what is being told. Stories continue to morph, and more doubts arise. More and more lies brings the question of Hannah and Brett Anderson's innocence into doubt-at least for the public. But the story doesn't end here. This story is only beginning... About the Author

Kidnapped when she was three years old, Sue began her writing career as a means of escape from the emotional scars and repetitive nightmares from her childhood. She wrote her first poem at nine years old, then started her first full-length book, a sci-fi, while still in grade school. With only one chapter to go, her aunt found the manuscript hidden in Sue's closet. Without reading it, her aunt called it garbage, a waste of time and paper, then forced Sue to watch as she tore it up and threw it in the trash. Devastated, Sue gave up writing until she left home at 18. She then returned to writing poetry.
As an investigative reporter in college, she earned a journalism scholarship, then she went on to write her first book, "Bitter Memories: A Memoir of Heartache & Survival", the story about her life after the kidnapping, plus two sequels to Bitter Memories. She now has several other books, including a book of poetry, exposing feelings never shared before with short stories that inspired each poem.
She also wrote her first fantasy since her aunt tore up her sci-fi so many years ago. Still remembering the main characters from that destroyed manuscript, Sue brings them back to life in "The Rose: A Tale of Fantasy."
Today she lives in Nevada with her husband a their two dogs. She enjoys the outdoors, reading and writing.
You can find all of her books on her website.
