Flower
Make 5.
With lilac, ch 6, sl st in first ch, [ch 5, sl st in first foundation ch] 4 times. Fasten off. (5 petals)
Leaf
Make 5.
With green, ch 8, sl st in first ch, ch 7, sl st in first foundation ch. Fasten off.
Finishing
With RS of Dishcloth facing, position Leaves and Flowers on solid blocks as shown in photo. Using purple and working through all thicknesses, attach Flowers and Leaves by embroidering 3 french knots(see illustration) in center of each Flower.

Rows 3–5: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.

Leaves & Stem

Leaving long end for sewing, fasten off. (2 Leaves, 3 Stems)
Finishing
Using long ends and tapestry needle, sew Leaves and Stems to front of Dishcloth as shown in photo. Sew 1 Flower on top of each Stem.
