Chapter 11 - 12

Having understood the basics of microscopy such as setting up a microscope and focusing to observe the specimen, it is important for users to understand the different types of accessories and enhancements used to increase functionalities and enhance the experience. 

Chapter 13 - 17

Chapters 13 through to 17 educate the reader about the qualities of a good light microscope, different types of specimen and specimen preparation and ultimately give simple practice experiments to begin with, ending with microscope cleaning and maintenance as well as a definition of important terms.
