About the Author

Trisha Blanchet Trisha Blanchet is a former journalist and the founder of Operation Delta Dog, a nonprofit organization with a mission to rescue shelter dogs and train them to work as service dogs for disabled U.S. veterans. She lives in Massachusetts with her husband, two children, and well-traveled mutt, Ryder.
