A glimpse into the soul of an average person. In times of extreme emotion, both bad and good, there are universal truths that all people can relate to. Life has its ups and downs and so does this grouping of poems. As the world further descends into madness, you will find reason for hope. There is still goodness, beauty and truth, we just need to know where to find it.

About the Author

Lindsey has been writing short stories and books since she was a little girl. Often times she would write a magical story including (terrible) drawings and stapling the papers together, creating her own book. She started writing poetry in High School where she enter the Poetry Out Loud competition. Her performance won in both her class and the whole school where she went on to the state competition. Unfortunately, she did not win but she continued to write poetry, mainly for her own personal enjoyment. Her inspiration often comes from her family, friends, and God. She hopes her poetry will inspire others and that it will shine a light of faith and hope in this dark world.
