Overview

Barbed Wire and Thorns provides consolation and answers the questions about suffering and the meaning of life as it explores Jesus' struggle to fulfill his calling, especially in his last days. Malmgren's meditations follow Jesus as he suffers and approaches the cross. Including suggested readings from the Gospels and poetic reflections on what it might have been like for Jesus, Barbed Wire and Thorns is ideal as a Lenten devotional and will help you to identify with the suffering of Jesus in the midst of your own trouble.
