About the Author

Edie M. Higby, is a Children’s Book Author, Entrepreneur, and longtime Early Childhood Professional. She has been in the field of Education and Family Service for over 20 years. She received her B.A. degree from Whitworth University and specializes in Early Childhood Education & Curriculum Development. Edie is very passionate about teaching children about their Smile, Joy & Kindness. She started The Tooth Fairy Company in 2013 with hopes and BIG dreams of flying a Tooth Fairy Balloon down the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade one day. February is National Children’s Dental Health Month and National Tooth Fairy Day. On 2.22.2022 Edie and her family “Welcomed” a special new addition to the Tooth Fairy Team, a little Shih-tzu -Yorkie puppy.

She even named her, “Macy Day Parade”.

Her Mission for the Tooth Fairy Company is to share the Tooth Fairy’s special message of the power of a smile and her Goal is to eradicate childhood tooth decay disease forever.
